Indian passport, visa, and consular services have officially resumed across Australia from July 23, 2026. The services are now being managed by VFS Global, bringing an end to a disruption that lasted for more than three weeks.

The High Commission of India in Canberra announced that VFS Global will operate the services through six upgraded Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) located in major Australian cities. These centres have been opened to provide faster and more convenient services for applicants.

The new centres are available at the following locations :

  • Adelaide : 111 Gawler Place, Suite 8.01, Level 8, Adelaide, SA 5000
  • Brisbane : 127 Creek Street, Suite 0201, Level 2, Brisbane City, Queensland 4000
  • Level 6, 40 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra, ACT 2601
  • Melbourne: Ground Floor, 324 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004
  • Perth : 23 Barrack Street, Ground Floor, Perth, WA 6000
  • Sydney : 22–24 Market Street, Level 9, Sydney, NSW 2000
