India has made travelling easier for people from the United Arab Emirates by expanding the Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) facility to more airports. UAE visitors can now enjoy a smoother entry process with less paperwork and quicker clearance. This update is expected to encourage more holiday, medical, and business trips between the two countries, which already share strong travel and cultural connections.

New Airports Added for Visa-on-Arrival

UAE nationals can now get a Visa-on-Arrival at three newly added airports:

  • Kochi
  • Calicut
  • Ahmedabad
  • These airports join the existing VoA locations : New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

With this, the total number of airports offering Visa-on-Arrival for UAE citizens has now increased to nine.

This expansion will help travellers fly directly to more cities without worrying about long visa procedures.
