In a significant step to boost tourism and strengthen cultural ties, the Philippines has announced visa-free entry for Indian passport holders. This decision allows Indian travelers to visit the country for up to 14 days without a visa.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the action and said India would give free e-visas to Filipino tourists in return. He also mentioned that direct flight services between Delhi and Manila are expected to begin in the coming months, which will further improve travel convenience.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted that these initiatives are aimed at enhancing tourism, business opportunities, and people-to-people connections between the two nations.
