This visa streamlines the application process, sparing visitors from repetitive procedures and enabling them to plan their trips with ease.

The five-year multiple-entry visa has been a game-changer for various groups, from business professionals attending conferences to families enjoying leisure activities. It’s proven to save frequent visitors both time and money.

This extended visa streamlines the application process, sparing visitors from repetitive procedures and enabling them to plan their trips with ease.

Among the multitude of visitors maximizing the benefits of this extended visa is Salim Kola, a biomedical engineer and longtime resident of Dubai who shifted to Bangalore, Karnataka, a few years ago. “Securing this visa shortly after its announcement was a delight for me. I recall paying approximately Dh1,200 at the time,” shared Kola, who ventured into business in India following his relocation.

Kola frequently journeys to Dubai to reunite with his parents, relatives, or for occasional business engagements. “Considering my father’s ongoing employment in Dubai and the fact that all my siblings and extended family reside there, visiting every four months is essential,” he elaborated.

In addition to his family trips, Kola frequently journeys for business, providing his expertise to numerous hospitals and medical facilities across the UAE. “The vibrant environment of Dubai plays a pivotal role in fostering the expansion of my enterprise. I have a select group of clients who necessitate regular consultations,” explained Kola.

Calling parents to UAE

Aftab Hussain, a Sharjah-based businessman, has secured long-term visas for his parents, granting them the freedom to visit the UAE at their convenience. Hussain expressed, “This visa simplifies our travel plans. Previously, we had to endure waiting periods for visa issuance.”

“Hussain suggested, ‘Booking tickets and boarding the flight is all it takes for my parents to reach Hyderabad; it’s just a few hours away for them.'”

Eager tourists

Taking full advantage of the flexibility provided by the 5-year multiple-entry visa, numerous tourists are embracing the opportunity to visit Dubai several times annually to explore its offerings.

Shreya Chakravarty, a resident of New Delhi, India, often travels to visit her sister in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She mentioned, “I usually visit once a year, sometimes even twice. Having a five-year tourist visa would be beneficial, especially since the current price for a one-month visa to the UAE exceeds Dh350.”

Chakravarthy’s biannual trips to the UAE amount to Dh700 each, totaling Dh3,500 over five years with two visits annually. This represents a significant saving of nearly Dh1,500 compared to the Dh2,000 visa cost through an agent.

Chakravarty expressed enthusiasm about applying for this visa because of its simple documentation process. He noted that maintaining a minimum bank balance of $4,000 and providing a six-month salary statement should be sufficient. This approach not only saves costs but also streamlines travel between the two countries, eliminating the hassle of applying for a visa for each visit to the UAE.
