Unlike business visas, which may be obtained for anywhere between 30 and 365 days, tourist visas are only valid for up to 90 days. Depending on your visit’s purpose and visa category, the Embassy will determine the validity and stay time. One, two, or several entries may be covered by it.

The type of admission that is authorized must be carefully noted. The bearer of a visa that says “multiple entries” can enter or leave Gambia several times, but only once if the visa says “single entry.”

The earliest possible time to apply for a Gambia visa is one month before the planned departure date. However, all visa applications should be filed at least ten days before departure to enable enough processing time.

The actual passport will be stamped with the visa by the Embassy. The passport must thus include two blank pages. Additionally, the validity of your passport should extend at least six months beyond the intended stay.
