Applications should be submitted three to one month before departure. Three months before your intended departure date is the earliest you may apply. In most circumstances, you’ll learn the results of your application within 15 calendar days.

A person can only be allowed to Saint Martin as a tourist for 30 days. A tourist may stay in Saint Martin for 180 days in a calendar year. The entry type will be provided at the embassy’s discretion.

The bearer of a visa with a single entrance restriction may only enter and exit Saint Martin once; however, a visa with multiple entry restrictions may permit repeated entries and exits.

The Saint Martin visa can be used for leisure and recreation, sports, medical needs, family issues, educational pursuits, religious travel, or business trips. Tourists are prohibited from working while they are visiting Saint Martin.

The actual passport will be stamped with the visa by the embassy. The passport must thus include two blank pages. A minimum of six months should pass after the intended stay before your passport expires.

Typically, it takes 15 working days to process a visa application.
